Gearbox Software and 2K Games have announced a season pass for "Borderlands 2." The season pass will cost users $30 and will enable access to all the DLCs announced so far for the game. However, if the users are unwilling to buy the Season Pass, they also have the option of purchasing content expansions individually for $9.99 or 800 MSP. The Pass can be purchased when "Borderlands 2" hits store shelves on Sept. 28.
"Borderlands 2" follows the story of four new Vault Hunters as they fight to free Pandora from the clutches of Handsome Jack, the brilliant, charismatic, and utterly despicable CEO of the Hyperion Corporation.

Players will fight across the whole of Pandora to stop Jack from awakening an ancient alien evil known only as 'the Warrior'. Their quest will bring them into contact with some familiar faces from the old game - most notably, the original four Vault Hunters: Roland, Lilith, Brick and Mordecai. They, along with some brand new characters, will help players defeat Jack, destroy the Warrior, and save Pandora.
The season pass has $39.96 worth of content and will be available for $30 for all platforms, (equal to 2400 MSP. Moreover, all four add-on content campaigns are scheduled to be available by June 2013.
What's more, gamers who pre-order "Borderlands 2" from participating retailers will gain access to the "Borderlands 2 Premiere Club." This access will allow them to download the Gearbox Gun Pack, a Golden Key, the Vault Hunter's Relic, and an all-new fifth character class, the Mechromancer.
The new information regarding the game has arrived after Gearbox's art director Jeramy Cooke told the Official Xbox Magazine that players would have to re-spec their characters because there will be enemies that the player won't see on their first run.
